Defect:

The primary side brake cup within the master cylinder may fail causing loss of brake fluid line pressure in one-half of the dual braking system.

Consequence:

This would cause reduced braking effectiveness andincreased stopping distances that could result in an accident.

Correction:

Replace master cylinder.
