The v belt pulley, which drives the hydraulic pump providing power assist for steering and hydraulic brakes, can fail.

Consequence:

Loss of power assist to the steering and power assist tohydraulic brakes can result in a vehicle crash without warning.

Correction:

Install different pulley and reinforce power steering pump mounting.
