Defect:

Fuel filler and vent hose came off during fmvss 301 compliance test.

Consequence:

Separation of fuel filler and vent hose from fuel tankcauses fuel to spill from the fuel tank. the spilled fuel could catch fire nearan ignition source; vehicle would not comply with fmvss 301.

Correction:

Tighten the clamps holding the hoses to the tank and the fuel filler tube.
