- The bolts, washers, and nuts used to install the optional rear sway bar are incorrect.
- Consequence:
- Fasteners may separate and allow rear sway bar to fallto the road surface, causing a road hazard which may result in an accident.
- Correction:
- Replace incorrect fasteners.

- Defect:
- The optional ride system component can abrade the flexible brake hose that is routed from the differential housing to the crossmember to the rear of the rear axle.
- Consequence:
- Abrasion may cause hose to lose brake fluid and the rearwheel brakes to become inoperable, increasing stopping distance which may resultin an accident.
- Correction:
- Relocate flexible brake hose and replace incorrect fasteners.
