Defect:

The fuel shut-off valve in the generator compartment may contact a battery cable terminal or the starter solenoid of the 7000 kohler generator. this contact causes an electrical short circuit and possible fuel line leakage. consequence of defect: should a short occur the fuel line would be damaged, causing a gasoline leakage. a potential for an explosion and/or fire.

Correction:

Secure fuel line in a position away from the battery cable terminal.
