- Oil pressure gauge sending unit, located on the right hand side of the engine, may leak oil. engine parts could be damaged due to resulting lack of lubrication.
- Correction:
- Upon inspection, a modified oil pressure gauge sending unit will be installed if necessary.
- Notes:
- Vehicle description: passenger vehicles equipped with analog oil gauges.system: engine; oil pressure gauge sending unit.consequences of defect: if the engine has been running for awhile and is veryhot, leaking oil could cause an engine fire, resulting in possible injury tovehicle passengers.
