Defect:: A cotter pin that retains the nut holding the rear wheel bearing to the axle rod may be missing. consequence of defect: the nut could loosen allowing the bearing to slide off the axle and the wheel to come off. this could result in a vehicle accident.
Correction:: Install the cotter pins, if missing.
