Defect:

The vehicles were modified to extend the front frame assembly. however, certain components and attaching hardware required to extend the frame were not installed. consequence of defect: the extended frame contains a winch, that when used may cause the frame to fail and cause an accident.

Correction:

Inspect and if necessary retrofitting to the required design.
