Defect:

The defect is in the wheel rim side ring. the wheel is made up of a disc and rim assembly, side ring and lock ring. the side ring may have been improperly sized with respect to the other components.

Correction:

All wheels including spare will be inspected. the side ring or the complete rim will be replaced, as necessary.

Vehicle description: trucks.system: suspension; wheel rim side ring.consequences of defect: due to the improper size of the side ring, it may slipoff during vehicle operation. this could result in a vehicle accident, personalinjury and property damage. this damage would result from loss of the rimpieces.
