Defect:

The crankshaft pulley could separate from the mounting plate due to a manufacturing defect. the water pump, air conditioning compressor, power steering pump, and alternator could become inoperative. this would cause the engine to eventually become inoperative as well.

Correction:

Defective pulleys will be replaced at no charge to owner.
